A group of friends organized a tea party for baby Timothy Joseph. It was such a special event. There were petit fours, cucumber sandwiches, and icecream punch! Lots of family was there including Timothy's Great Grandmother. There were friends from the Impact church, friends from 1st Baptist church, neighbors, and college roomates there. It was fun to get so many people who support our family together to laugh and celebrate! The most special time was at the end when the girls prayed over Timothy and our family. They asked God for wisdom in our marriage and in raising the baby, they prayed for him to be a strong spiritual leader, they prayed for his future wife, and they prayed for my strength as a mother. It was such a gift! Thank you Andrea, Christyn, and all the hostesses for pulling it all together. I loved it and will cherish the memories!
