I believe Caleb, like his father, does not get Modern Art. Here is a piece of art outside of Tim's building. We have been picking Tim up from work because we are a one car family for now so we sit and stare at this piece for a while each day. This is how the conversation went...
Caleb...That's a carrot Mommy?
Me...A carrot? No son, that is called Modern Art.
Caleb...It's an ark?
Me...That is close son, but no, it is called Art.
Caleb...No Mommy, you silly, that a heart. Heart Mommy heart!
Me...Actually son, I don't know what that is but they call it modern art.
Caleb...Hmmmmm, it's a whales tail Mommy. A umback (humpback) whales tale!
(Then he starts making the whale sounds and laughing. Caleb has a slight obsession with humpback whales due to Diego)
I had nothing to say after that.....I just let it be...maybe today it will be something different!
