We have quickly discovered that Caleb has an obsession with eggs. He wants to make them every day and eat them at every meal. Usually we have to make him stop eating them because he will eat as many as you put in front of him...truly! He gets very emotional if we are not eating eggs that day. Each morning when he wakes up he say something like this...
"We make eggs Mommy? I help you? We cwash (crack) them? We cwash the castle eggs? You get butter? I help you? It's hot Mommy? I help you? It's better? Bwow (blow) on it Mommy? Is better now? I bweak them? You bweak the eggs? Can I eat? You eat eggs Mommy? No, I eat eggs? We cwash them? I help you?" And on and on and on...
Actually, he has gotten very good at making eggs with me. He counts them and sort of breaks them and can flip them on his own. It is a fun morning ritual even if I can't get a word in anywhere!
*This is a picture of Caleb drinking his first fruit smoothie. He thinks smoothies are ice cream so he has quite a good time with them.*

So cute! And I believe every word of him eating as many as you will give him. I am always amazed at how much Caleb with eat. Call you when we get home!
ReplyDeleteI love it...did you like eggs that much? I sure do miss him and I hate that I did not get to see him when I was there (but I did get more time with Timothy)... I miss you
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh! Can't wait until Sam can talk to us like that. He "talks" a lot now, you know, but we don't quite speak the same language yet. ;-) And I love Caleb's shirt! My weather man husband would love Sam to have a shirt like that. :-)
