Daddy and the Dinosaur!

We went to the dinosaur museum today, one of Caleb's favorite places on earth. He woke up asking for the "disaurseum, please Mommy, please". So, my friend Mandy and her three sweet kids went with us for a play date. While we were there we looked at all kinds of animals from all over the world, beautiful gems and crystals, a display on gravity, a display on drilling oil, etc.

All throughout the museum I talked to Caleb about things and tried to teach him. I was thinking some day this will be good to know and he may remember. I must say I was put in my place...while we were walking in the museum we saw a display of a Woolly Mammoth and Caleb stops and stares for a while. Then he turns and screams at me "Mommy needs aircut! Mommy needs aircut!" I finally realized that he was telling me the Woolly Mammoth needs a haircut! On our way home I asked him what he learned today and guess what he said..."needs aircut"

So much for teaching him something, maybe next time!
